About: Juha Pekka Kinnunen
Almost everyone has a camera, and (almost) everyone can press the button and take a picture. However, the final result depends on much more than merely good equipment. My name is Juha Pekka Kinnunen and I'm a 25 years old photographer from Kirkkonummi. Photographing is much more to me than just a hobby. It's a passion and a way of life, which I've been doing since 2004 when I got my first digital camera. A few years later, I bought my first system camera, a Canon EOS 350D. At the end of 2008, I got a Canon EOS 50D, which is still in use. At the end of 2009, I bought a Canon EOS 7D, and at the beginning of 2010, I exchanged it for a Canon EOS 5Dmark II - Canon's first full sensor camera. However, as I said, mere good equipment doesn't imply good photos. I've seen pictures of live gigs where the looks and postures have been all but representative. I regard a 'creative vision' and a fair 'sense of the situation' as my foremost strengths. The very moment when you press the button is, after all, one of the crucial moments in getting a successful image. I've taken many pictures of nature, promo pictures of bands and live photos. I like all kinds of challenges with regard to photographing, and I enthusiastically take new projects. I also have experience of video shooting; I have, among other things, made one music video. You find my pictures in the "portfolio" section.
